Hello! I’m Michael Ovbey, currently based in Canton, Georgia, where I’m pursuing a life rooted in faith, family, and personal growth. Raised in the close-knit community of Milton, Georgia, I had the incredible fortune of growing up in a loving household where values like integrity, perseverance, and compassion were nurtured from an early age. My parents, who mean the world to me, instilled the principles that continue to guide me today—especially the simple yet powerful idea of treating others as I would want to be treated.

Though my journey has taken a few unexpected turns, every step has been a valuable lesson. After spending a semester in college, I realized that the traditional education path wasn’t for me. I made the decision to leave and threw myself into the workforce, navigating different jobs to make ends meet. Most of my professional experience has been in the food industry, where I’ve learned the art of customer service and developed a strong work ethic. But after a couple of years, I found myself searching for more sustainable, long-term opportunities. That’s when my parents introduced me to Praxis, an entrepreneurial education program where I’m now enrolled, working to build the skills that will launch my career.

I’m currently focused on sharpening my video editing skills—a passion that’s grown over time through various personal projects. While I’m still in the early stages of my career, I’m driven by the need for financial stability, and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead. I don’t seek fame, but I do hope to make a meaningful impact through my work, in my own quiet, steady way.

Outside of work, I’m always seeking ways to balance the hustle with my personal passions. Whether I’m traveling (when the budget allows), gaming, or working out, I love pushing myself to explore new experiences and challenges. And no matter where life takes me, one thing remains constant—my dedication to family. They are, without a doubt, my anchor in every storm.

As a devout Christian, my life philosophy is deeply shaped by my faith and the teachings of Jesus. My core belief is simple yet profound: love your neighbor as yourself. This principle guides not only how I interact with others but also how I approach life’s ups and downs.

Looking forward, my biggest goal is to grow my career as a video editor and expand my creative horizons. I know the road won’t always be easy, but if my journey has taught me anything, it’s that perseverance pays off. I’m excited to see what the future holds and how I can contribute to the world in my own unique way.
